Welcome to the wonderful world of Percy Drip the Plumber at Cannock Library on August 15^th. 2025. The Percy Drip adventures are a series of six books aimed at children from 4 to 10, they are  written by Chris Warsop, and beautifully illustrated by Alan Birch, one of the leading children’s book artists in the U.K. The first two books in the series are available now from our website at percydrip.com. and we have some exciting news for you.

We are hosting a Percy Drip Day at Cannock library on August 15^th. 2025. when the children can come along and meet Chris and members of the team. The half hour sessions will include reading about Percy Drip’s adventures with his faithful doggy partner Trousers and a host of wonderful characters. The books are also brought to life  as audio books, narrated by our good friend Nick Owen from BBC television and a cast of fantastic voice actors. We will have colouring competitions, sing along to the Percy Drip song, maybe even a dance session along to Toots the cuckoos’ song.  Photo opportunities with our full-size character models and questions and answers with lots of giveaways. These sessions have been very popular at primary schools and are a great way to encourage children to read. Books one and two are available now and come with lovely free gifts. They will be on sale at the sessions and Chris will be on hand to sign copies for the children.
